Last spring, my friend Julia made an offer to make something for the first five people to respond to her post. She could not guarantee that what she made would be liked. It would be created for each person, with love. It would be done by the end of the year. It may be weird, beautiful, edible, wearable, tote-able, or readable, etc. There were no restrictions on creativity, as long it was hand made with love ♥. In return, these five people who responded will need to repost the same offer and make something for five other people to pay it forward...and so on. Since I love making things and I loved this idea so much, I jumped on this fun opportunity to make things for others.
Six people responded to my post and instead of excluding anyone, I decided to made them all something. I also could not guarantee that what I made would be liked. It could be anything, as long it was hand made with love ♥. The question was....what to make? I've always wanted to make cute little animal ornaments and never had the motivation to do it until now! So last month an assortment of little critters were created for the holiday season. I enjoyed making them so much that I had planned on making them for everyone! However, they turned out to be very time consuming as they were mostly all hand sewn. I ended up not having the time to make them for all my friends, but more of these little critters will probably make appearances in the future! :)

What a wonderful idea! These animal ornaments are absolutely adorable. You are so creative and beautiful, my dear! -Monica Kotak

ReplyDeletemy lil' owls are on my tree :) they're the only ones that I deemed "cat-safe". I don't want to hang any of my glass owls out of fear that Vlad will attack!
ReplyDelete:) Vlad will need to learn to love the owls and not attack them! :)
